GM had a school in it, Ralph went, since before
most of us were born. Ralph is a long-time
Cadillac collision guy, and was the one to
ask when you had a real heavy hit. And that’s
what he does here, heavy hits and most of
the collision work. He was repairing cars
like this when they were new, and would just
as soon just keep doing it forever. No color
sanding, no electrical, no nonsense, just
keep feeding him wrecked cool old cars and
he’s as happy as can be. He interviewed 12
times…he was interviewing us to see if this
was the right kind of place for him. We made
a deal and it’s been nothing but love since!
The
quality and craftsmanship of the work was more that I had expected. I had not
seen this kind of quality fit and finish on metal before. The paint was spectacular.

Doug's
suggestion that I consider new vs rebuilt carburetion was the right way to go.
This, along with a tune-up has the car back on the road again. I now feel that
anything that needs to be addressed on the car can be competently dealt with
