Oh
man is this fun!! The owner of this car is a really
nice guy in Maryland who had a simple request: build
me a really great, good looking, fast 1968 Mustang.
So we did some basic restoration work, put a pile of
high-horse Ford Crate engine in the car, painted the
car, new interior, and took care of all the mechanical
details needed to have the car right.
You want the whole story? We picked the car up at the
customer’s home in Maryland ourselves, and delivered
it when we were done. We disassembled the front clip
and installed Heidt’s deluxe rack and pinion power steering/coilover
front suspension, straightened prior frame damage, complete
engine upgrade, performance exhaust, media blast the
car to bare steel, repair body and refinish, upgrade
to Shelby style tail lights, air dam, stripes, windshield,
complete interior including performance seats and harnesses,
killer stereo, new fuel tank, extensive electrical repairs,
aluminum driveshaft, rust repair and rear suspension
upgrade, refinish the trunk, and calibrate the speedometer.
