Man,
this job was a ton of fun. The customer has had
this car forever, and had a poster in his garage
of it how he wanted it to be. He brought us the
car and the poster and asked us if we could do
it. We blasted more filler off of this car than
I've ever seen before. When it was in bare steel
it looked like the car had been worked over with
a baseball bat. The front end was so hammered
and rusty we couldn't repair the headlights and
fenders. These cars are pretty rare, but we knew
of a '56 four door sedan with good fenders, so
we cut those up for this car. As well, we sorted
out steering issues, exhaust, wheels and tires
and a really bad window regulator.
