This car belongs to the nicest guy in the world…except of course yourself. We have restored three cars for this customer, and have worked on 5 other cars of his. I guess we may be doing something that makes him happy.

The restoration work we did on this 1930 Ford consisted of carburetor rebuild, distributor rebuild, door hinge rebuild and rearview mirror installation, speedometer repair, paint and dent repairs, replacing the amp meter, complete service, replacing the very old transmission and rear axle lube, battery replacement and installation of battery tender, installation of unobtrusive turn signals, you know, all the usual stuff.

One thing that really stood out on this car was the paint repair work. We’ve worked really hard over the years to perfect our paint processes, and it’s very rewarding to be able to repair paint on an antique so that the match is perfect and the customer is happy with the lower cost we can produce the work for. The more costly option, if we weren’t capable of matching and blending the paint, is the major expense of refinishing the vehicle.
